MATASEMARANG.COM – Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti underscored the need for educational adaptation in the face of digital disruption to ensure learning remains relevant and up to standard.

Speaking at the University of Terbuka Graduation Seminar at the UT Convention Center in South Tangerang on Monday, the minister noted that the digital disruption era has created an environment of uncertainty, often described as VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity).

Even so, he noted, this era also presents new opportunities for those able to adjust.

“We must continue to innovate, because innovation gives us sustainability and agility—the ability to endure and the ability to keep developing,” he stated.

“Without these two elements, we may truly experience digital disruption and all the consequences that come with it,” he said as quoted Antara.

To address these challenges, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is pursuing innovations and transformations related to teacher quality improvement, learning approaches, and broader education policies.
